KHI House Agents Attend Senior Expo

Untitled-15On Tuesday June 14th, 2016 house agents from KHI Solutions attended the annual Senior Expo in Crossroads Mall. Katie, Jenny, and Doreen (as pictured) set up a table and served members of the community who were able to stop by with freshly popped popcorn and hospitable conversation on the products and services KHI offers. They also held a drawing for a free pie and KHI Coffee mug!  This year there was a great turn out and a great time was had by all. KHI Solutions is a proud supporter of the Fort Dodge community and looks forward to any events that we will be able to attend in the future!

Allyson Been of KHI Solutions has recently received her life, health and accident insurance license from the state of Iowa. Been is a group specialist on the Agent Service Team. Her responsibilities include assisting agents with the sales and servicing of employer group health, dental and life/disability insurance products.

SBA Names Lynn Schreder the Iowa SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year

Untitled-1(DES MOINES, Iowa) – The Iowa District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration has named Lynn Schreder as the recipient of its 2016 Iowa SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year Award.

 

Lynn Schreder, president of KHI Solutions in Fort Dodge, Iowa is a Cedar Rapids native and an Industrial Education graduate of Iowa State University.

 

Schreder purchased KHI Solutions in 2009 after a 20 year career in marketing, sales, and management for Wellmark and ATT/Lucent Technologies/Avaya in the Midwest. KHI is one of Iowa’s major wholesalers for health insurance. In addition, KHI is also a retail outlet that sells health insurance directly to individuals and groups and represents all the major health insurers that market products in Iowa.

Stanley receives insurance license

Caley Bloom named marketing director

Caley Bloom 2016January 4th, 2016 – Caley Bloom recently joined the staff of KHI Solutions as their new “Marketing Director.” She is the first member to join the team for a Marketing position. Her main responsibilities will be to help promote KHI Solutions through the use of advertising and marketing tools. She is currently working on boosting our outlets of social media, so be sure to “like” our Facebook page!

Lastine earns top recognition

Brenda LastineApril 14, 2014 – Brenda Lastine, of KHI Financial Solutions, was recently recognized by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa with the Individual Sales 2013 Top Producer Award. This award acknowledges the expertise and sales experience Brenda uses to find the right product to fit the needs of her customers. Three percent of all Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield agents in the state of Iowa achieved this honor.

Wellness is focus of March ‘How to Wow’

KHI SolutionsMarch 20, 2014 – “Healthier work environment. Healthier bottom line” will be the first Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce “From How to Wow” education program for 2014 and is sponsored by KHI Solutions. The meeting is set for Monday.Dr. Mark Dearden, Van Diest Medical Center, and Lynn Schreder, owner of KHI Solutions, will discuss the importance of wellness programs in the workplace. They will outline the value of wellness programs regardless of business size, things to consider when getting started or expanding an existing program, local resources to assist in implementing a program and the impact that wellness programs have on an employer’s bottom line.

KHI Solutions gives back to community with donation to HERO

KHI donation photoMarch 3, 2014 – Webster City, Iowa – KHI Solutions recently presented the Help Entertain and Restore Organization (HERO) with a donation of $1,000 to assist with their Save the Webster Theatre effort. The donation was presented by Andy Hejlik, partner, on behalf of KHI and their employees to Jeff Pingel, member of HERO, inside the Webster Theatre.

“At KHI, we believe in being involved and giving back to the communities that we are in, whether it is because our offices are there, our employees live there or that our clients call it home,” said Hejlik. “Webster City has shown amazing community pride and rallied around reopening this historic focal point of the community and we are happy to be associated with this project.”
