Thursday August 5th, 2016 – On the 5th of August two of the three owners of KHI along with a few employees attended a day of golf at the Greater Growth Alliance annual golf outing. The day was spent networking with local business owners while enjoying 18 holes of golf. The time was well spent and enjoyed by all who attended. KHI Solutions will be closed on Monday July 4th in honor of Independence Day! We will re-open Tuesday July 5th at 8:00 am.

Lynn became a NAIFA member in 2009, when she became a partner at KHI Solutions in West Des Moines. Since becoming a NAIFA member, Lynn has served on the NAIFA-Central Iowa board since 2012, as their local Health Chair. She is also active on the NAIFA-Iowa State Convention planning committee and provides continuing education for NAIFA members throughout the state as part of the NAIFA-Iowa CE Tour.

Fellow NAIFA-Central Iowa member, Nate Sammler, LUTCF, has this to say about Lynn, “With as much as Lynn has going on in her life, she is amazing at finding time to help anyone who asks for it, whether it be personal or industry related. She is humble, compassionate and cares for all.”

Not only is she a member of NAIFA, but Lynn is also an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Women Business Owners, having served on their board for the last six years. She is also an active supporter of the Iowa Women Lead Change conferences and their Invest in “She” competitions. Outside of the industry, she volunteers with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and JDRF, putting on an annual fundraising pool party that raises thousands of dollars each year.

On Tuesday June 14th, 2016 house agents from KHI Solutions attended the annual Senior Expo in Crossroads Mall. Katie, Jenny, and Doreen (as pictured) set up a table and served members of the community who were able to stop by with freshly popped popcorn and hospitable conversation on the products and services KHI offers. They also held a drawing for a free pie and KHI Coffee mug!  This year there was a great turn out and a great time was had by all. KHI Solutions is a proud supporter of the Fort Dodge community and looks forward to any events that we will be able to attend in the future!

Allyson Been of KHI Solutions has recently received her life, health and accident insurance license from the state of Iowa. Been is a group specialist on the Agent Service Team. Her responsibilities include assisting agents with the sales and servicing of employer group health, dental and life/disability insurance products.

(DES MOINES, Iowa) – The Iowa District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration has named Lynn Schreder as the recipient of its 2016 Iowa SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year Award.

Lynn Schreder, president of KHI Solutions in Fort Dodge, Iowa is a Cedar Rapids native and an Industrial Education graduate of Iowa State University.

Schreder purchased KHI Solutions in 2009 after a 20 year career in marketing, sales, and management for Wellmark and ATT/Lucent Technologies/Avaya in the Midwest. KHI is one of Iowa’s major wholesalers for health insurance. In addition, KHI is also a retail outlet that sells health insurance directly to individuals and groups and represents all the major health insurers that market products in Iowa.

February 19, 2016 – Julie Stanley of KHI Solutions has recently received her health and life insurance license from the State of Iowa. Julie is part of the Agent Services team and her main responsibility is to assist agents with the sales and servicing of health, dental, life, and disability insurance products.
