What is it? A new form of a common virus.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
Mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of:
• fever
• cough
• shortness of breath

How to protect yourself and employees:
  • Closing doors to the public and offering phone/virtual appointments
  • Encourage employees to stay home if they (or a family member) are not feeling well
  • Front end help sanitizes door handles, pens, office spaces, etc. every few hours to reduce potential transmission
  • If possible, move employees to work from home in a thoughtful, choreographed manner. This ensures your clients continue to receive excellent stability and support
  • Discourage employees from using other workers’ phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment, when possible
  • Provide clients and the public with tissues and trash receptacles
  • Promote frequent and thorough hand washing, including by providing workers, customers, and work-site visitors with a place to wash their hands. If soap and running water are not immediately available, provide alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60% alcohol
